Front and Center – Concert Photography with Kevin RC Wilson – January 3rd, 2019 – New York
The stage is dark. A quiet hush falls over the crowd and the atmosphere is electric. With that the stage lights up and the band starts to play. It’s now your turn to shine as you craft a visual story of tonight’s concert. You have 3 songs to tell the story. What will it be and how will you do it?
Join the Leica Akademie and Photographer Kevin RC Wilson for a one day workshop, exploring the process of documenting a live performance. Over the course of one day and evening, Kevin will reveal the techniques he uses to create compelling visual stories for some of the worlds most well known bands.
This program goes beyond a simple lecture or set of tips, and puts you into a real world situation, allowing participants to put theory into practice, by actually documenting a live performance.
This is a rare opportunity and a great way to build your portfolio or simply explore the challenge of music photography.
