WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
Looking to get the most out of your camera? This introductory class for beginners will help you move away from your camera’s automatic modes, allowing you to harness the full potential of your gear and to further express your artistic vision. Students will learn the basics for proper exposure, focusing, and depth control, while also diving into composition techniques and tips for consistent image quality. Through an increased understanding of your camera’s functions and options, our goal is to move you from “point-and-shoot” photography to truly “making” images in-camera and eventually onto your wall or photo album.
No previous photography experience is required. But if you are using a non-Leica camera, students must have access to a manual or have a basic understanding of how to access and change their ISO, Shutter, and Aperture prior to the workshop.
Students must have ZOOM installed and running properly on their computer before the beginning of the class. Installation & operation videos are available online through the zoom website.
Attendance is strictly limited, so be sure to sign up at your earliest opportunity.
