Leica Q Owners Workshops (ONLINE)
This virtual workshop is designed for current owners of the Leica Q and Leica Q2 and will teach practical skills to enhance their experience with the camera, with the help of two professional Leica Akademie Instructors.
Location: This workshop will be conducted via the online ZOOM Video chat platform.
Scope: This session will help ensure that you are making the most out of the capabilities of the Leica Q system. Leica instructors will lead you through understanding the menu system, recommended settings, and step by step tips to help you increase the accuracy of your metering and speed of focus.
The workshop is arranged with a flexible schedule, so the group can organically discuss and share feedback, based on their unique areas of interest or desired areas of improvement. Having personal access to a seasoned Leica instructor will give you an unparalleled opportunity to ask tough questions and receive practical attention.
There will be a 1-hour break toward the middle of class.
Attendance is strictly limited to 10 participants.
- Introduction to Q
- Going Beyond automatic
- Understanding Metering
- Focusing options
- Customization & optimization
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
Have you owned your Leica Q for a while, but find that you are still stuck in automatic mode? Do you feel like you are not getting the most out of your camera? This workshop is for you! Owners of all experience levels will benefit from this program.
REQUIREMENTS/PRE-REQUISITES: Students must have ZOOM installed and running properly on their computer before the class day. Installation & operation videos are available online through the zoom website.
RECOMMENDED PRE-REQUISITES: Though not required, it is strongly recommended if you have never taken a photography class or formally trained on photography, to sign up for Photography Fundamentals or a private training bespoke session with one of our Akademie instructors prior to the workshop. These opportunities will make your understanding for the product workshops and master classes much easier to follow, as they prepare you for the photography lingo & basic photography principles involved with dialing in your cameras.
Attendance is strictly limited, so be sure to sign up at your earliest opportunity.
