Have you ever wondered what it would be like to produce images used in a lifestyle magazine article or swimwear lifestyle/fashion/ campaign? This is your chance. Join Lifestyle Photographer/producer Adam Freedman and Leica Professional Imaging Specialist John Kreidler for a 3-day intensive workshop in Miami, Florida.
More than just the opportunity to photograph beautiful models, the aim of this program is to prepare you to take a client’s vision and concept and make it a reality. Working with industry icon, Candice Galek, founder of Bikini Luxe, as our Art Director, each participant will have the possibility of gaining real-world experience, while contributing to their latest campaign.
Going beyond the typical workshop, our small group format will present each student with the chance to create images uniquely his/her own. Our focus is on ensuring that you leave with new images for your portfolio and a clear understanding of the creative process behind this style of photography.
Topics covered include:
Having a plan: pre-production, day of, and post production
Model direction, posing, staging, and composition
Dealing with harsh light
Mixing ambient light with strobes
Planning for contingencies
On set essentials – working with a minimum of gear
Creating images with impact

The Raleigh Hotel, in the Art Deco District of South Beach, will be our headquarters for the weekend. A special rate has been arranged for our students and we encourage you to stay here, as the weekend will be packed with both formal and informal sessions with the instructors.
The workshop will begin with an opening night lecture and reception at the Leica Store Miami. Friday will include an early pre-production meeting and a full day of shooting at the Raleigh pool, reserved exclusively for our group.
Saturday will include a presentation from Candice Galek, two separate location shoots, and an optional sunset shoot. Sunday will include a review of the images made throughout the weekend and a final shooting session, focusing on applying everything learned over the previous two days.
